CHRiSTOPHER COLUMBUS WAS A MURDERER. EVEN THOUGH SOME MAY SAY HE WAS A HERO BECAUSE HE DiSCOVERED A LAND TO THE WORLD BUT HE DiDN'T DiSCOVER iT "FiRST" BECAUSE THERE WERE ALREADY NATiVE AMERiCANS THERE. ONCE HE GOT THERE HE TOOK OVER THE LAND LiKE THE NATIvES WERE SOME NOBODiES. HE COULD'VE ASKED FOR MAYBE A PART OF THE LAND BUT TO JUST TAKE OVER THE WHOLE THiNG WAS JUST UNFAiR. CHRiSTOPHER TURNED THE NATiVES iNTO SLAVES MAKiNG THEM WORK AND DOiNG MEAN THiNKS TO THEM. HE DESTROYED THEiR CULTURE, THE PEOPLE, AND THEiR LAND BY BELiTTLiNG THEM LiKE THEY WEREN'T HUMANS AND JUST DOiNG WHAT THEY WANT TO DO.
christopher Columbbus was definitely a murderer. he enslave many native instructing the to serch for gold in thir land. if the gold was not enough he usually kill on beat them unmercifully. Columbus was a man of greed who alway wanted his way. and he allow the love of material pursuit take away his diginity.
Christopher Columbus was a murderer. He lead a group of people who killed for personal wealth and greed. He takes credit for finding a land that their was already civilization on. If u weren't with him when he came 2 america u would be killed, beaten,or turned into slaves. He had no remorse for anyone, watch millions of men, women, and babies die. Hw can u lead such a group if people, better yet how could u live with yourself. If u ask me Christpher Columbus was a cowart,no where near being a hero.
In my opinion Christopher Columbus and the Spaniards were murderers that used the excuse of religion to justify their cruel and inhumane acts. They killed and enslaved countless Native Americans and people from distant island. When America was discovered it was a greatly populated area rich in tradition and value. The Natives were a kind, humble, and peaceful people, whom welcomed the Spaniards with open arms. The Native saw the Spaniards as heaven sent angels but that was a thought that was sure to be proven wrong. The Spaniards saw the compliant and humble attitude of the Natives as a weakness and struck them with unthinkably harsh acts. The Spaniards believes that Christians where entitled to unlimited riches and they used this belief as fuel to their raging flames of devastation and cruel behavior. It is told that they murdered Twelve million men, women, and children but it is thought to be more. Although he is responsible for the discovery of this great country his actions were repulsive and unforgiveable. They had no remorse for the lives they had stolen nor did they excuse make any sense. Their claim was that they were in titled to riches because they were Christians but the Natives had no riches. They saw no need to have worldly possessions, they were poor and humble and the saw the Spaniards as “Heaven Sent Angel”. By the time they realized that it was untrue it was to late and the slaughter truly began. At first the Natives did not retaliate with force but as more and more of their people were being tortured, killed and enslaved their tolerance level fell. The Native fought back but their weapons were obsolete and the wars ended in devastation for them. This i think they were murderers.
Christopher Clumbus is many things but I am unable to call him a murderer due to the lack of evidence placing him in direct connection to the murderous event cause by his people. Yes he may have brought them to America but I yet to see documentation of his wrong doing. Christopher carried death over to the Natives but there is not proof of first degree
Interesting question ...
