Indentured Servitude or Slavery? Which One is most degrading?
Slavery is much more degrading then Indentured servitude. Slaves had no pay for their services. Slaves were always discriminated on since it began. Indentured servitude wasn't exactly the best conditions but at one point their was equality between everyone. The industure servants had benifits, they were paid with land after completing their term no matter race. Slaves never was giving this oppurtunity. Showing that slavery was much more degrading
slavery because unlike indentured slavery there is no contract there is no free land you're a slave until you die also there is color boundary with slavery that's why slavery is more degrading
being an indentured servant is way worse. you are working to "pay-off" a debt or serving a punishment yet as a slave this is your life time employment. they can easily screw you over and add time to your serving
OKAY HAVE YOU ALL THOUGHT ABOUT iT BOTH OF THEM ARE BASiCALLY TREATED THE SAME LiKE THEY JUST GOT DiFFERENT NAMES AND iNDENTURED HAS MAYBE ONE OR TWO MORE PRiViLEGES THAN SLAVERY BUT LET AN "iNDENTURED SERViTUDE" MESS UP AND THEY'RE BEiNG TREATED JUST LiKE THE SLAVE. THE "iNDENTURED SERViTUDE" GETS HOUSiNG AFTER WORKiNG HiS/HER CONTRACT TiME AND PLUS HE/SHE GETS PAiD FOR WORKiNG. SLAVES ON THE OTHER HAND WORK FOR FREE, DOESN'T GET ANY HOUSiNG AND THEY DONT HAVE A WORK TERM THEY WORK UNTiL THEY DiE OR THE OWNERS ARE DONE WiTH THEM. i CALL THEM QUOTE ON QUOTE iNDENTURED SERViTUDES BECAUSE THAT'S JUST A NiCE WAY TO CALL THEM SLAVES.

AFTER THAT iNDENTURED SERVANTS CAN LOOK AT iT LiKE THEY ARE SLAVES TOO. AT THE END iNDENTURED SERVANTS AND SLAVES ARE BOTH THE SAME BECAUSE THEY WERE BOTH BEiNG WORKED.
Slavery was by far the most degrading due to the conditions in which the people had lived and the terms in which they served. Form oppressive teachings to inhuman slaughter and even the sexual assualts on the battered and innocents the slave masters left nothing to the imagination of people in both this and past era's. They vividly displayed their methods to the world and deprived a entire race of equality and basic unalienable rights.
